All Log Splitters are made in the USA with the exception of the Pow'R'Kraft & PowerHouse.  Pow'R'Kraft and PowerHouse brand are a imported wood splitter in the USA.

Do you ship to Canada?

 

We do not ship the Pow'R'Kraft wood splitters to Canada at this time.  For all other log splitters the minimum charge to ship to Canada is $200.  For a more detailed quote please contact us.

 

I am trying to check out and when I try to process my order after I use my credit card I get an error code something like (15005) ?

 

If you have sufficient funds then 9 out of 10 times its security stoppage with your credit card company and they want to verify.  Leave your order up on the page then all you have to do is call the number on the back of your card and tell them your trying to make a purchase and its not going through.  They will then see the transaction that you tried to put through and they will release it.  At that point you just have to submit it again on the page you left open or just redo the purchase.  If you have questions please contact us.

 

How will the charges appear on my credit card statement?

This is a tough question to answer as it can depend on many factors.  Shipping can ship anywhere from next day up to 14 business days or longer after your order is placed.  If known, Wood Splitters Direct will let you know ASAP if there is going to be a delay on your order.

If you get a notice your wood splitter is on back order we will give you the latest information on when the expected delivery date is.  You can either wait or you can choose to have a refund and cancel your order.  You can also choose to be notified when the item is back in stock, please contact us and let us know.

 

 

You can just check out using a credit card with out using Paypal at all.  If you just want to use a credit card and pass by Paypal just add your items to the cart and click check out not the Paypal button, then click check out again under Proceed Directly to Checkout toward the bottom of the page.  Here it will ask you for your shipping information etc.  You will then be taken to the payment page where you have an option to just check out with credit card via our secure check out system.  Paypal is our merchant credit card processor so don't be alarmed if you see a notice you paid by Paypal when you paid by credit card.  If you have questions please feel free to contact us. 

 

I would like to buy a 4 way wedge but it says I have to buy a log splitter as well?

 

The 4-way wedges are made specifically for our splitters so we generally do not sell them separately for other splitters.  If you would still like to order a 4-way wedge anyway it will cost an additional $25 for shipping.  If you would like to order one and pay $25 extra please email us your request.  There are no returns on 4-way wedges.  

 

When exactly is my credit card charged? 

 

Your order is processed and payment is charged instantly when you place a order.    You will get a email confirmation after you place your order.  

 

 

We have a 14 day guarantee that the price you paid will not go down.  If the price does go down with in 14 days of your purchase then we will refund you the difference.  After 14 days there will be no refunds of any kind.

 

Does my splitter come with hydraulic fluid? 

 

Only the compact units 4-Ton and 7-Ton come with hydraulic fluid.  All other splitters do not come with hydraulic fluid.  The most common used fluid is Dextron ATF lll fluid.
