I purchased your 20 Ton Horizontal Log Splitter with the removable 4 way wedge approx. a month ago. The splitter was delivered to my house on time. The driver called me to let me know he was at my house! I have a 1999 Case 1840 Skidstreer with 15.3 GPM on the front hydraulics. This splitter crushes everything that we have put on it. My neighbor has an excavator with a thumb to pick up the pieces to put on the splitter. These are pieces of oak 40 inches across that two guys can't pick up but your splitter half's them with out any strain. My machine idles quietly while crushing these pieces. I am very impressed with this unit. It's better than what I thought I was buying. No more listening to small engines at high revs surging under strain. The best part is that I can set the height that I can work at. No more lower back aches from working in a bent over position. The cycle time is the same as my old splitter which I can live with. The more I use it the better I have gotten by not retracting the piston all the way back on small pieces. The four way split works great. After the big pieces are quartered I drop the four way wedge over the single wedge and finish the job.
This is the best splitter I've ever worked with and I've been doing this since 1985.
